Mang Ohle is the mascot Pikiran Rakyat Daily, Bandung, West Java, which has been circulating since 1926 with Fikiran Ra'jat spelling. But Mang Ohle appeared in 1955, when the leader of editor, Shakti Alamsjah, considered important to have a character who represents the Pikiran Rakyat as a newspaper in West Java.
